Am I the only one more excited for the day off than the actual wedding?

I thought to myself a few weeks ago that the media weren't making too much of a big deal about it all, but I guess they were saving the big guns for this week.

There's loads of street parties to celebrate - and a few anti-monarchist parties, strangely! - but most people I know want to sit in and watch it rather than making the most of the day off!

I'll be more than happy to raise a glass to the happy couple (thanking them for the day off!) but watching the whole ceremony will be as boring as having to compare electricity prices!

I think I'll try and round up some equally nonchalant friends and go do something fun - they'll be showing coverage of the wedding for years to come, I'll hardly miss anything!
