Preparing for sunshine

We're off on our summer holiday soon, a bit early but that way we get to enjoy the sun somewhere else while it's still miserable here, and back for the rest of the 'real' summer we supposedly get here. I do love a British summer, bbqs and football in the park, dealing with the fact it's not actually warm!

I've just bought a pair of the Persol Steve McQueen sunglasses for a tasty price of £249.99 - they fold up and are really cool, and quite frankly suit me to a T. So come holiday time, I'll be rocking my sexy glasses with a pair of chinos and designer t-shirt and be hitting the seaside bars with my boys for some good times.

The Sexual Health Clinic

Picture this: me and my girlfriend's teenage sister sat awkwardly in a room full of youths at the local sexual health clinic.

Funny old situation isn't it? Well, it wasn't too bad actually. My girlfriend's sister wanted some advice, but my girlfriend couldn't go with her so I volunteered - I'm a nice guy like that and I have a pretty good relationship with her sis.

The scariest thing about the whole experience was the actual clinic itself, all the posters on the wall and leaflets everywhere! STDs! Teen Pregnancy! Genital warts treatment! Gonorrhea!

It was scary for someone my age, let alone a teenager looking for some advice.

I did feel like I learnt a bit from staring at the walls in the waiting room though, and sexual health is a really important. Hopefully my girlfriend's sister got all the information she needs, but I grabbed a few extra leaflets just in case.

Made me chuckle...

I bought this card for my granddad's birthday...

I hope he'll take it in good jest! Luckily my grandparents are not quite at the stairlift stage in life just yet, but it's a funny card, and so true of his personality!

Ever since I was a kid I always remember him fixing things, fiddling with all the electronics in the house, fixing old things other people didn't want - he was great at it most of the time and hated to accept defeat if something really had had its day (which was a rare occasion - the man can fix anything!)

He's still the same, and if they do end up with a stairlift I wouldn't be surprised if he got the tool box out for some modifications!

Funny Youtube Mash Ups

Okay so I'm having a very successful day so far. Not. I guess I'm on a comedown from the luxurious double bank holiday weekend we just had, I just can't bear to get on with boring work, so I've pretty much spent most of the day on YouTube.

I was looking at funny fails which were brilliant, then college pranks, and now I've stumbled across a few hilarious video mash ups!

Look at this!

There are absolutely loads using the Wonga.com man's face on singer's bodies and mashing up the songs with the adverts!

I wish I could make stuff like that, I'm already full of funny ideas that I'm sure the world of YouTube would love!
